Stage two is hot water extraction, better known to many as steam cleaning, using the Airflex Storm 800psi. Its brush turns at speed to stir up soil sunk low in the carpet, while a twin vacuum system draws it off in the same movement. Needing less water than competing machines means no carpet ends up waterlogged, and drying is quicker for it. That matters in an apartment, where you may need to move between rooms within a few hours.
The rinse leaves the carpet at its original pH and clear of any detergent that might draw soil back. Neutraliser goes down, leftover spots are revisited, the pile is brushed and a speed dryer runs. We then go round the finished rooms together. Expect about 80% dryness on departure; give it 2 to 4 more hours and most carpets are dry right through.
