Carpet and floor cleaning for Castle Street terraces and Wey-side estates

The town centre keeps a wealth of old buildings, and the Georgian frontages around Castle Street and West Street hide steep stairs, narrow landings and plenty of fitted carpet. Beyond them the housing quickly changes. Weybourne and Badshot Lea have a good share of mid-century and later family homes, while Wrecclesham mixes older cottages with newer roads. South of town, Frensham sits among heathland, ponds and pine woods, where sandy paths and needles find their way indoors. The North Wey runs right through the area, so riverside walks bring mud in too. Older properties here often pair carpeted bedrooms with flagstone or tiled kitchens and hallways, which collect grime in the grout. That variety is why a Farnham visit can cover carpets, sofas and hard floors in one go.

Hidden wear

What grit and grease do to carpets, sofas and tiled hallways

Most wear on a carpet starts out of sight. Grit carried in from pavements and heathland trails sinks to the foot of each tuft, where it slowly cuts at the fibres each time it is walked on. Stair noses and the strip in front of the sofa thin and lose colour first. Kitchen and road grease adds a sticky film that holds new dirt in place. Upholstery soaks up oils from skin and hair, so arms and headrests darken while the rest stays lighter. On stone and tiled floors, dirt packs into grout lines and textured surfaces where a mop simply moves it about. Given time, mites, allergens, bacteria and household dust settle into soft furnishings. Deep cleaning on a regular basis removes this build-up and helps everything last much longer.

Our approach

A twelve-step clean, split into three clear stages

Whatever we are cleaning, the work follows a twelve-step routine that we split into three stages. Doing it in this order means the dirt is loosened first, extracted properly and then rinsed out completely, so the carpet stays cleaner afterwards instead of re-soiling within weeks. Upholstery and rugs go through the same sequence, with products adjusted to suit the material.

Inspect, vacuum and treat

On arrival, Reece inspects each carpet or piece of upholstery to judge the fibre, the level of soiling and any stains. He tells you the likely outcome before starting. Loose dirt is pre-vacuumed, furniture is moved when safe, and a pre-spray goes on. Individual blemishes are dabbed with a pre-spot solution before a grooming rake raises the tufts. In Georgian townhouses with steep, narrow stairs, each tread is prepared individually, and stair runners get the same attention as the treads beneath them.

Hot water extraction

Deep cleaning falls to our Airflex Storm 800psi. During hot water extraction (many customers know it as steam cleaning), a spinning head scrubs into the tufts and paired vacuums whip the loosened soil away. Water use stays low compared with most rivals, so nothing gets saturated and rooms come back into use sooner. That suits older Farnham homes, where furniture often has to go straight back into small rooms.

Rinse to neutral, then dry

Our rinse resets each fibre to its original, factory-fresh pH, and a neutraliser follows so not a trace of soap is left. Leftover marks get a post-spot, grooming sets the pile, and a speed dry follows. After a final inspection, carpets are about 80% dry and typically need another 2 to 4 hours to finish.

Domestic carpet cleaning for a GU9 home in Farnham

The problem
This homeowner’s carpets needed a thorough professional clean, and they wanted someone reliable and courteous to carry it out.

What we did
Reece inspected the carpets, pre-vacuumed and pre-treated them, then cleaned with hot water extraction before a neutralising rinse, grooming and a final check with the customer. He stayed professional and polite throughout, and talked the homeowner through each stage.

The result
Seeing how well the carpets responded left this homeowner very pleased, and they told us they would gladly recommend us and book again.

Wow! What can I say, right from booking the appointment the customer service has been amazing. I had booked in for my annual carpet clean and then last week we had an accident with a bottle of nail varnish (great timing 😉) so I really did put them to the test, see the photos attached! Thanks again Recce and Dave, I am so happy how all the carpets came out 🙂.

Reece was very informative on the phone when I called. He took the trouble to explain the options. Keiran was very polite and cheerful and did a good job of cleaning the sofa. It was a bit expensive at £180 for the hour of work but a good service

Renting a carpet cleaner from a shop compared with a professional extraction clean

Hiring a machine from a supermarket or DIY shop over a weekend might seem a cheap fix. The trouble is that home methods often leave detergent behind and put far too much water into the carpet, which causes problems later.

Hard floors too

Stone and tile floor cleaning for Badshot Lea kitchens and Weybourne hallways

Carpets are not the only floors we look after. Stone and tile floor cleaning is a separate service that can be added to a carpet or upholstery booking, which is handy in homes where a tiled kitchen or flagstone hall sits next to carpeted rooms. Grime that builds up in grout lines and textured stone is hard to shift with a mop. Flag up any hard floors on your enquiry and they go into a single fixed figure for the whole visit.

Careful, insured cleaning for Frensham and Wrecclesham families

You will not find harsh chemicals in our kit; everything Reece brings is safe with toddlers and pets about. Staff are properly trained, and insurance covers each job. Bulky furniture is lifted only where there’s no risk, otherwise we clean around it. Grey water goes into an outdoor drain or a WC. Feel free to step onto cleaned carpet immediately, and borrow some overshoes from us if you like. Should anything disappoint, every job carries our 100% satisfaction promise in writing.

Coverage

Cleaning in Weybourne, Wrecclesham, Badshot Lea and Frensham

As well as the town, we regularly work in homes across Weybourne, Wrecclesham, Badshot Lea and Frensham.

Vacuuming removes loose sand, while suitable deeper cleaning can address soil held within the pile. We assess the carpet before treatment. Sand can also abrade fibres over time, so removing it will not necessarily erase worn traffic lanes.

Not necessarily; use and visible soil matter more than treating every room as identical. For a Farnham home, discuss pets, foot traffic and spills when planning a clean. A hallway may need attention sooner than a seldom-used bedroom.

Our Farnham coverage includes Frensham, Wrecclesham, Weybourne and Badshot Lea. Give us the address and room details so we can confirm the practical arrangements, including access and the areas you want included.
